Where Kane's Been

Judging by the low amount of emails I've received about not posting recently (read: 0), I am assuming that all of our loyal readers (read: 2; it would be 3 if I could get my grandma on the internet) are so shocked by my unexplained absence that to put down in words their astonishment and send it to admin@thesecondageblog.com was just too painful.  I feel you, loyal readers.  I feel you.

So where have I been?  I left my job three weeks ago and planned to do a sweet bike tour of the five boroughs of NYC during my week off, then broke my finger playing softball for my previous employer.  So essentially I just played Call of Duty all week.  I also started an intense program at my alma mater called the Columbia Publishing Course.  It's a 9am-9pm type deal and, thusly, when I get home I just kind of zone out and go to sleep.  I could write my usual commentary, but if I wanted to half-ass my way through something I would just apply for a job as BP's CEO.

All of this being said, I have left the blog in the very capable hands of Nate.  Updates will be less frequent because only one of us is publishing over the next six weeks, but I hope to get back on the wagon soon.  In the meantime keep commenting and linking to the site so we can up the site's value, sell it to Huffington Post, allowing Nate and I to retire.
